Vincenzo Indovino

Pianist

Vincenzo Indovino began studying piano at the age of four. He graduated with top honors in 2011 from the Vincenzo Bellini Conservatory in Palermo, and went on to complete a specialization in interpretative-compositional musical disciplines in 2013 at the Bellini Institute of Caltanissetta, again graduating with top marks and honors. In 2015 he obtained a further qualification in music education with full marks, honors, and special mention from the Palermo Conservatory.

 

He studied with internationally renowned pianists including Bruno Canino, Vincenzo Balzani, Anna Kravtchenko, Calogero Di Liberto, and Roberto Prosseda, and has been awarded prizes in numerous piano competitions.

As a performer, he is active both as a soloist and chamber musician, collaborating with instrumentalists and singers and performing in important venues such as the Politeama Theatre in Palermo and La Fenice Theatre in Venice.

 

Qualified as a music educator with top marks in 2016, he also works in teaching at academies affiliated with Italian conservatories and higher music institutions. In the same year, he passed a national competition for teaching music in middle schools and music high schools.

 

Since 2017, he has been professor of piano at the “N. Colajanni” Music High School in Enna.

 

In 2018, he served as rehearsal pianist and stage director for Puccini’s Tosca and Turandot during a tour in China organized by We Opera Management, performing in major theatres in Nanjing, Foshan, Shanghai, and Xiamen.
