Anastasia Kenner-Kozhushko

Pianist

She was born in 1988 in Ukraine. She received her professional musical education at the special music school for gifted children in Kharkiv (Ukraine) with N. Rudenko and N. Melnikova.

Since 2005, Anastasia Kozhushko has been a student at the Royal Conservatory of Ghent under Professor V. Samoshko, graduating with honors. Since 2008, she has been a soloist at the Queen Elisabeth Chapel of Music, studying with Abdel Rachman el Basha and guest professor Dmitry Bashkirov.

From 2010 to 2015 he studied at the International Piano Academy of Imola (Italy) with Boris Petrushansky and at the

Lemensinstituut in Leuven (Belgium) with Timur Sergeyenia, where he obtained his Master’s Degree with honors.

Anastasia is the winner of more than 25 international competitions such as the 24th Smetana International Piano Competition in the Czech Republic (1st prize, 2001), the International Music Competition “Alter Musica” in Spain (1st prize, 2000), the International Piano Competition “Excellentia” in Brussels, Franz Schubert International Piano Competition (2nd prize, Italy, 2011), International Piano Competition “Città di Albenga” (1st prize, Italy, 2012), International Piano Competition “Silvio Bengali” in Val Tidone (Italy, 2013), Sergei Rachmaninov International Piano Competition (2nd prize, Italy, 2013), International Piano Competition “Koffie bij de piano” (1st prize, Netherlands, 2014), International Piano Competition “Ulvenhart Klassiek” (1st prize, Netherlands, 2014) and others.

Since the age of 6, Anastasia has participated in various concerts and festivals in Ukraine, Russia, Spain, Germany, Belgium, Holland, Italy, France and Japan, and has performed in prestigious concert halls such as BOZAR, De Singel, Lille Opera House, Flagey, De Bijloke, Sala Verdi (Milan), National Philharmonic of Ukraine, Rachmaninov Hall of the Moscow Conservatory, etc.

Since the age of 12, Anastasia has performed with Ukrainian and European orchestras under conductors such as Dirk Brosse, Dmitry Liss, Eduard Dyadyura, Yuri Yanko, Dmitry Morozov, Shaliko Paltadzhyan, etc.

She has performed as a chamber musician with Claron McFadden, Nikita Borisoglebsky, Roby Lakatos, Leonard Shreiber, Jan Guns, Dana Zemtsov, Pieter Pellens, etc.

Since 2007 he has had a successful PianoDuo with Matthieu Idmtal with whom they have won competitions such as the International Chamber Music Competition in St. Christopher, the International Music Competition in Almere in 2012, the International Competition “Guldenberg Klassiek” and many others, as well as participating in Festival Klara, Festival Musiq’3 etc.

In 2009 he recorded a CD with Jan Guns featuring the music of Dirk Brosse, a live performance of a work by A. Rosenblatt with his piano duo was selected for the CD compilation of the Klarafestival 2012 and his solo performance of a world premiere of the sonata by F. Nuyts is part of the CD album produced by Muziekcentrum De Bijloke.

Anastasia has produced a number of recordings for radio and television broadcasts and has received critical acclaim from the national and international press.

Since 2016 he has been the musical director of Kenner Artists which collaborates with artists such as Roby Lakatos, Denis Matsuev, Henri Demarquette, Alissa Margulis etc. and works with the most prestigious concert halls including Queen Elisabeth Hall, BOZAR, De Bijloke and others.
