Duo potenza

Gianfranco Pappalardo Fiumara and Giulio Potenza form an acclaimed Italian piano duo, distinguished by their intellectual depth, musical refinement, and shared passion for the great piano repertoire.

They have performed in some of the world’s most important concert halls and international festivals, including the Musikverein, Carnegie Hall, the Rudolfinum, Teatro alla Scala, Teatro Massimo, the Munetsugu Hall (Japan), the Martha Argerich Project in Lugano, the Duettissimo Festival in Krakow, the Grieg in Bergen Festival, and the Bangkok Piano Festival, receiving highly positive reviews for their interpretative depth and exceptional ensemble precision.

Their recordings have been broadcast by BBC Radio 3, Rai Radio 3, and Radio Musiq 3. They have also been invited to perform for the Quirinale Concerts in the prestigious Paolina Chapel.

Alongside their concert activity, they are deeply engaged in research and teaching, both serving as professors at the “A. Scarlatti” Conservatory in Palermo.
