Ester Kopel

Ester Kopel, a lyric soprano, lives in Rome. She has already performed roles such as Liù (Turandot) at the Taranto Opera Festival 2025, Donna Elvira (Mozart’s Don Giovanni) at the Teatro di Belluno, Nedda (Pagliacci) at the Taranto Opera Festival and Elettra (Mozart’s Idomeneo) with the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra. Her repertoire also includes roles such as Mimì (La Bohème), Suor Angelica, Magda (La Rondine), Marguerite (Faust), Micaëla (Carmen), Tatiana (Eugene Onegin), Iolanta and Fiordiligi (Così fan tutte). She has worked with conductors such as Giuseppe Acquaviva, Sergio Alapont, Vivien Hewitt, Nir Kabaretti and Gianluca Marcianò, and has performed with orchestras including the Malta Philharmonic, the Moravian Philharmonic and the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra. She has won numerous singing competitions, including the Mattia Battistini (Rome) and the Taranto competition in 2025, and was a finalist in 2026 in “Voci in Barcaccia” – RAI Radio 3, with the final performance accompanied by an orchestra at the Teatro dell’Opera in Rome last July. She also won second prize at the ‘Anita Cerquetti’ Competition in Sanremo and was a finalist at the Ada Sari International Competition (in Poland). Ester Kopel is continuing her vocal training under the guidance of Maestri Ugo Tarquini and Antonio Pergolizzi. She is currently performing in gala concerts with the Sanremo Orchestra as the winner of second prize at the Anita Cerquetti International Singing Competition.
