Three faces of French modernity
A lucid and coherent journey through French modernity, bringing together three exceptional protagonists: the visionary irony of Satie, the impressionist poetry of Debussy, and the virtuosic elegance of Ravel. The combination of piano and voice amplifies the evocative power of this journey, where poetic words intertwine with sound. In 2025, the program takes on a special significance, celebrating the 100th anniversary of Satie’s death and the 150th anniversary of Ravel’s birth, in a musical dialogue that illuminates the roots and development of their legacy.
