The interpretation between liberta’ and rigor

Interpretation between interpretative freedom and rigor is the center of the masterclass.
“The function of the creative artist consists in creating laws, not in following those already formulated”, this is a quote from Ferruccio Busani on the role of the artist.
How can we transfer it to interpretation?
On the one hand, there is the need for academic rigor, stylistic requirements, correct reading of the score, and technical expertise; on the other, the essential need to recreate a text, to literally bring to life something that speaks to us from the score, communicates to us, and that, by transforming it into a subjective message, we return to the audience.
This process will be the cornerstone of the meetings where each participant will delve deeper into the proposed repertoire, discovering and focusing their own vision of the composition through analysis and technical research.
This research will also use examples from the teacher herself as well as from great pianists of history through video recordings.
Purely technical issues related to interpretative choices will also be addressed and formulas will be provided to resolve any possible steps.
The masterclass is open to all pianists of all ages and levels.
